If you're looking for an oversized denim jacket, head straight for the men's section at any thrift store. Seriously, vintage ones are the best! Perfectly broken in and the fit is ginormous, just how I like it. And it's a great item for making pretty and delicate dresses a little less so.

I'm sure I've said this before but, as soon as the temperature starts to heat up the bra goes buh-bye. Mostly because I love wearing items with a little surprise in the back for summer - key holes, flutter backs, sheer, lace, all of that, or none of that. Never mind the fact that my boobs will probably be down to the floor by the time I hit 40. I live for today, okay?

Hope y'all had a great first day of summer! It was glaringly bright out when we took photos so, sorry if my whiter than white shirt is burning your eyeballs. Trying to pull off the whole 'sexy tomboy' thing here. I just really like the idea of wearing something boyish and kinda frumpy overtop something delicate.

I got my hair cut y'all! Last week I went to my girl Cassandra at Seven Salon, she's a curly hair specialist and I wouldn't trust anyone else to cut my hair. Seriously, she just gets it. When I went to see her all I knew was I wanted something short, I was so tired of my hair literally weighing me down. So she asked me what celeb hair styles I liked (Nicole Richie and Kate Mara) and how I would describe my style. Then she designed this perfect cut just for me! It's shoulder length (or it will be after I wash it and wear it with my natural curls) with clean lines, no layers, and it's a teensy bit longer in the front. So fresh, so minimal, kinda edgy... I want to buy a whole new wardrobe to compliment my new do!

I feel like I don't share enough photos of my dog with y'all, so here ya go! The bf and I took him to the off-the-leash dog park at Marymoore this weekend. If you've never been, it is the best dog park in the Seattle area. I usually dress super casual when I'm out with my dog and love the boho vibes from my straw hat and lace top. I was so tired after playtime at the park that I wore this exact outfit to the bar later that night! I only wish I could say the same for Pogi, that dog has endless amounts of energy. I guess that's just part of his charm.

Happy Monday babes! Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent the past two days taking my dog to the park - watching him rub his back all up on the grass like a freak, why do dogs do that - and going to house parties. Which is strange because 1. I have friends that actually own houses now and 2. going to a house party sounds like a college thing to do. Any who, I lived in these shorts all weekend long. Meaning, I slept in them and wore them out the next day. They're so comfy, why the hell not?
